On February the 18th 2021 Acacia Lodge No.163 F.&A.M. held an Open Meeting to Celebrate American Citizenship Month in honor of President’s Day.
The Honor Guard and Flag Ceremony was conducted by GySgt (Ret) Jose Rodriguez and Commanding Officer, Cadet Lt. Cmdr. Ian Merteens and the SLWCHS/NAVYJROTC - Black Talon Company.  Brother Michael Katz’s wife, Jennifer, sang a really heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem.
A 55-Year Service Certificate was awarded to Brother Milton Wegler and a 65-Year Service Certificate was awarded to Brother Raymond Gosnell. a Perpetual Membership Certificate and Card was presented to Brother James Goode. Some of these Brothers traveled many hours to receive their awards and it is much appreciated.
CMDR SEAL (Ret.) Grant Mann, Executive Director National Navy SEAL Museum, Ft Pierce, presented the Navy SEAL Museum and SEAL History. He then had an open floor discussion where all present could ask questions and we got a brief glimpse into his 34 years of service as a US NAVY SEAL.
Brother Anton Eastman presented “A toast to the Flag”, a poem by John J Daly. A delicious dinner was prepared by the Junior Warden, Brother Glenn Chadbourne and the Stewards.  There were many present to celebrate this evening, and that just shows how strong Acacia Lodge No. 163 F.&A.M. and Freemasonry is. Thank you to all who attended and to those who helped to make this night special.

Worshipful Master, Stephen C Nelson is presenting GySgt (Ret) Rodriguez and Cadet LT CMDR Ian Martens and members of SLWCHS/NAVYJROTC - Black Talon Company with a certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Grand Master, M∴W∴ Thomas “Tommy” L. Turlington, Jr
A check for $600 was also presented as a contribution towards their expenses to travel to the annual drill competition at Camp Lejeune, NC.

On February 27th and 28th, Acacia Lodge No.163 F.&A.M. had their annual Hot Dog Fundraiser during the Downtown Stuart Art Festival.  It was a HUGE success, and the weather was perfect.  The fellowship during the weekend was exceptional. So much so that it didn’t feel like work at all. All who attended were fine examples of Unity in Freemasonry
As the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Florida has recognized the month of March as Youth Month the Worshipful Master, Stephen C Nelson decided with the help of Ms. Debbie Geiger to provide for the setting up of a Scout Cookie Sales station at the Hot Dog Stand. Scout Troop 31004 jumped at the opportunity and we are proud to say that this allowed them to not only sell a record number of cookies (350 boxes) but also to obtain a very sizable and generous donation to the “Cookies for the Military” Campaign. Congratulations to the Troop and the Moms for a job well done. In a follow up event on the 18th of March the troop was presented with an additional check from Acacia Lodge No 163 F.&A.M.
